— Gennadii Vladyslavovych, what would you say about the transfers that were attributed to Polissia this off-season? Do you really continue to fight for players like Pikhalenok, Shepelev, Andrievsky, Diallo?
— No. Absolutely not for all of them.
— Are you interested in forward Zorya Guerrero?
— Also no. We have Luiffer (a 22-year-old Venezuelan forward for whom, according to the Transfermarkt portal, Polissia paid 1 million euros — ed.
—You’ve already made three top transfers (Oleksiy Hutsulyak, Ruslan Babenko and Danylo Beskorovainyi — ed.). Should we expect any more high-profile acquisitions?
— Not at the moment. Maybe in the winter.
— When choosing a new head coach, did you negotiate with such specialists as van Leeuwen and Hryhorchuk?
— No, we did not.
— And with Khatskevich?
— With him — also not. It’s not worth talking about it now, because the decision has been made. We already have a head coach.
— And finally, a question I can’t help but ask you: what about the stadium in Zhytomyr? Do you know where it will be located?
— I can’t say right now. The mayor of the city knows the exact address of the stadium. But we are working on preparations for the construction of the arena, the plans have not changed, and Polissya should get a new international stadium.
